GUDDOG Dog Supplements

Introducing your dog to a new supplement

Our dogs are all different. My dog, Shuga, loves nothing more than a slightly high-pitched, overly excited intro to new treats and supplements. I often feed her the Guddog supp directly from a teaspoon (Once you start this it is tough to stop so think it through, lol).

Some days she is super keen and other days she just isn’t. This, my friends, is the life of a dog.

One thing that I know for sure is, always introduce them slowly. If your dog has never had a supplement that includes pre and probiotics or is high in fibre, like our one, you need to let them get used to it. Some dogs are more robust than others and they will go on as per usual. Other dogs, that have had tummy issues, antibiotics or painkillers, might have to deal with a bit of an upset tummy for a few days while they get rid of the bad bacteria currently in their guts.

I would recommend starting with half the recommended amount for your dog. If they are a small dog, start with ½ a teaspoon and for larger dogs start with 1 teaspoon. Mix it into your dog's food or sprinkle it on top.

Don’t forget, if you Salt Bae the supplement they are more likely to want to eat it :) Follow pic on the top for directions, it's all the rage.
